With every new chapter in my life, I have looked to my parents’ lives for guidance. From my profession to my family life, they have led by example and shown me that with the right commitment and resilience, I can create the life I want.My greatest passions in life directly result from my parents’ influence and direction. From my early years, my top priority was golf. My dad, a passionate golfer, introduced me to the sport. We spent many hours on golf courses together, having a shared love for the difficult game. When the time came to switch directions in life, once again, I looked to my parents for guidance.
Before this pivotal moment, my life was almost entirely dedicated to golf. I was on collegiate golf teams at both UCLA and UC Irvine and played professionally for several years. People often laugh when I say that it's a hard way to make an easy living! Each level I advanced revealed to me the immense talent and competition I was up against. The sheer number of talented players was eye-opening, teaching me the level of dedication required to make a living playing golf.
After several years as a professional golfer, I began teaching golf. Spending long hours working with others at the driving range meant I was spending less time preparing for my own tournaments. Gradually I became ready for a new direction in life.
In 2005, I joined my parents, Sandy and Bill, and became a part of The Humphrey Team, embracing the familybusiness. My mom started her career in real estate, hoping to bring in extra money for the family, but she quickly excelled in the field. Eventually, my dad proposed the idea of partnering with her to create a real estate team. It was a leap of faith, but they took it together. Over time, they established a successful brokerage, building a team of agents and creating a thriving real estate business.
The transition into real estate was a joyous experience, especially having my parents by my side. They started a legacy, and I get to be a part of it. Real estate has allowed me to continue pursuing a career that I am passionate about while working closely with my loved ones. I can’t imagine a better way of life.
In golf, my father instilled in me the hard work that was needed to succeed. One must possess unwavering self-motivation. Unlike team sports with organized practices, golf relies on individual discipline,
and that applies to real estate as well. Both my mother and father understood that to succeed in real estate, self-motivation was a requirement. You must set goals, wake up early and have a clear plan of action. Over the years, their example has guided me forward.

Becoming a husband to my wife, Rachel, and father to our baby girl, EdenAnn, has given me an even greater appreciation for the incredible parents I have. Unfortunately, after being ill for some time, my father passed away on Christmas Eve, 2022. As hard as it has been to deal with his loss, I am endlessly grateful that he was there at the beginning of this new chapter and was able to spend quality time with his new grandchild.
As we heal from this painful loss, it has become more important than ever that we spend time together. We love to bring EdenAnn over to visit her grandmother and to bring the cousins together as often as possible.
Reflecting on my journey, I am filled with gratitude for the influence my parents have had on me. Their support and the values they instilled within me have guided me through many highs and lows. Today, as a husband, father and real estate professional, I carry their teachings with me, appreciating the endless opportunities that come with hard work and determination.
My roots in real estate began with family, where my parents demonstrated the necessary work and values that go into every transaction. With a focus on high-level customer service, I have built strong relationships with my clients, many of whom have become close friends. Having lived here for my entire life, I have extensive knowledge of the communities in Ventura County, Western Los Angeles County and the surrounding areas in Southern California. With nearly 20 years in real estate, I apply my community and industry knowledge to facilitate a smooth transaction, helping you achieve your goals!
